MTT, inc. has been selected to re-design, produce and host the Batavia Township webistes. MTT, inc. was asked to provide proposals for this project in Q3 of 2008 and was recently awarded the project. Initial design concepts have been approved and construction on the websites is scheduled for late January.
The township was looking for a fresh new look for their website and and way to manage content for a family of websites without having to know markup or have access to the ftp file structure. MTT, inc. offered a CMS solution based on the umbraco cms platform.
Umbraco is an open-source ASP.NET cms platform that allows for standards compliant markup with any design structure you can imagine. It comes complete with a streamlined, user-friendly administration interface which can be extended to allow for any and all content types to be managed.
The family of sites are scheduled for launch on March 1st, 2009.
